1. Lenovo ZUK Edge launched in China
Lenovo officially unveiled its first Snapdragon 821 powered phone ZUK Edge. The smartphone will go on sale from 1 January in China. Buyers will have two colors option ie. Ceramic White and Titanium Crystal Black.It comes with two storage variants – 64 GB on board storage with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM has been priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 22,500) and CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 24,500) for the 64 GB & 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM variant. Lenovo has not confirmed the availability of ZUK Edge in India. If Lenovo launches ZUK Edge in India with the same aggressive price, it will be a major hit as OnePlus 3T with same specs is being sold in India at Rs. 27,999.
2. NOKIA Flagship Device leaked with Snapdragon 835 and 6 GB RAM
Chinese firm leaked that Nokia’s upcoming high-end smartphone will come with Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and a 23-megapixel rear camera with Zeiss lens. An earlier report suggested that the high-end Nokia phone may sport a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch screen size and come with 2K (QHD) display. It may launched at Mobile world congress, Barcelona in February 2017 along with mid range Nokia D1C Smartphone.
3. Sony Xperia X, Xperia X Compact started Receiving Android 7.0 Nougat Update
Sony has officially announced that Xperia X, and X Compact will start receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update in a phased manner. The report cites users to claim that the Xperia X, Xperia X Dual, and Xperia Compact are receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update that will take the build number to version 34.2.A.0.266 on the respective handsets. Users are reporting that the updates are rolling out in Australia, India, Latin America, Middle East, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Vietnam as of now.
4. Facebook Messenger Group Video Chat Launched for Android, iOS, the Web
Users will be able to see up to six people at a time in group video chats. Up to 50 people can join in Messenger’s group video chats. You can now add colours to your Facebook posts.

The HTC One X10 , HTC’s new device will going to replace its predecessor One X9. A report suggests that the HTC One X10 will cost around CNY 2,000 (nearly $288). The HTC One X10 will have specs very similar to a mid-range smartphone. It is said to spots a 5.5-inch full-HD display, a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor (Cortex-A53 cores), and 3GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU .

Research firm Apteligent has claimed that the number of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices currently in use far exceed smartphones LG V20 and OnePlus 3T, and are only marginally less than the Moto Z smartphone, 9to5Mac reports. However, Pixel smartphones from Google and Sony Xperia XZ, which were launched around the same time as the recall, managed to beat the existing Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices in the market.
