WhatsApp ne aaj major security feature — Whatsapp two step verification roll out karna shuru kar diya hai. Yeh feature pichle saal November mein beta version mein introduce kiya gya tha lekin ab officially Android, iOS and Windows Phone apps mein available hai.

Iss security feature ko use karke aap apne WhatsApp mein security ki ek aur extra layer add kar satke hai. With two step verification, aapko six digit passcode enter karna hoga jab aap phone number ko register ya verify karenge WhatsApp mein. By default yeh feature off hai yaani aapko manually isse setup karna padega.

How to enable WhatsApp two step verification ??

Whatsapp Two step verification ko enable karne ke liye sabse phele aap WhatsApp ki setting mein jayenge. Phir Account mein aur Two-step verification option choose kare aur Enable kar click kare. Iske baad aap six-digit passcode setup kijiye aur pass-code re-enter karke confirm kardo.

WhatsApp > Settings > Account > Two-step verification > Enable > Enter six-digit passcode > Re-enter six-digit passcode > Optionally, add your email address on the next screen

Passcode confirm karne ke baad aap email id enter kijiye taaki agar aap passcode bhul jaye toh email id se two-step verification ko disable kar sake. Agar aap galat passcode daalte hain ya bhool jaate hain toh aap next 7 days tak dubara re-verify nahi kar sakte. And if aap next 30 days tak bhi successful re-verify nahi kar paye toh apka whatsapp account delete ho jayega. Saath saath sabhi chats aur groups bhi delete ho jayenge.
